W. Todd Smith practices in Divorce and Family Law from his Wesley Chapel law office. Todd started his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney working in the Dade City branch of the office of the State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. The Sixth Judicial Circuit covers Pinellas and Pasco County.

While serving as an Assistant State Attorney, Todd Smith handled a wide range of cases from second degree misdemeanors and DUIs to capital felonies. In his time as an Assistant State Attorney, W. Todd Smith tried over 30 jury trials. In 2005, Todd turned his attention to Family Law and Divorce. He brings a unique perspective to his divorce clients due to his past as an Assistant State Attorney. Unlike many divorce lawyers, Todd has dealt with and experienced a wide spectrum of complex cases and is able to use this experience and knowledge to assist his clients no matter the complexity of their situation.

W. Todd Smith was born in St. Petersburg, is a native Floridian, and has lived in the Tampa Bay area for the majority of his life. His wife, Lisa, is also a native Floridian and they enjoy spending time with their daughters Avery and Kendall and their extended families. Todd received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. W. Todd Smith is licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
